너무도 무기력함을 느끼며 그저 침묵하는 게 도리일 것 같아서 몇줄 끄적이다 지우고 또 쓰다 지우기를 반복했다. 쓰다보면 결국 단순하게 몇몇 화풀이 상대를 찾고 있는 것도 같아서. 분노의 대상은 몇몇 사람이 아니라 줄곧 엉망진창이었던 이 나라와 사회의 시스템인데...
나 역시 큰 사건을 겪으며 매번 그랬던 것 같다. 분노, 체념, 그리고 망각 또는 무관심.
그래서 다짐의 방편으로 여기 적어두련다. 잊지 말 것, 그리고 침묵하지도 말 것.

직업병이 도져서 원문은 무엇일까 검색해봤다. 누군지 꽤 훌륭한 번역이라고 생각. 부조리한 세상은 참 하나도 안변했다. 특히 구석구석 썩은 내 풍기는 이 사회는 좀체 변하질 않는 것 같다. 점점 더 나빠지면 나빠졌지. 내가 착한 사람인 줄은 잘 모르겠어도 나쁜 사람, 시끄럽게 아우성 치는 몹쓸 사람이 누군지는 알겠다. 중간쯤 되는 회색분자로 살았다고 해도 암튼... 이럴 때 분명 침묵은 금이 아니다. 다만 깊은 생각없이 설익은 목소리로 떠들어대진 말 것. 독하게 마음먹고 오래오래 지켜보고 행동해야할 때다.
